2025 Art and Craft Fair, November 22 from 9 AM to 3 PM
St. Mark's is teaming up again with the Vermont Maple Sugar Makers’ Association for a fundraiser during the The Big E. Volunteers package candy and assist in the Vermont Building booth in exchange for a day pass to the fair and a donation to the church for the hours worked.
The Big E runs September 12th through 28th, 2025

Setup Time: Help pack candy on Wednesday and Thursday before the fair starts. Flexible time and no passes needed. This is a big help.
Two daily time slots: 9 AM–3 PM and 3 PM–9 PM
Up to 3 volunteers per slot (max 6 per day)
Standard shift: 6 hours. Hearty individuals may do a double shift for the whole day.
Alternate shift: Please let us know if you need to add to subtract hours from the 6 hour shift so we can accurately report the time worked. Use Contact on SignUpGenius
Shifts are arranged so there aren’t too many volunteers at once and so the booth always has the help it needs.
Complimentary Tickets: Volunteers receive a day pass for each day they work. (If you work a double shift, only one ticket is needed.)
Parking & Shuttle: Employee parking is available with a shuttle service to the fairgrounds. Ask for Gate 1, nearest the state buildings.
Agawam: Pajer’s Field: located on Cardinal Drive, near 349 Cooper St, Agawam
West Side: Sullivan Paper: 42 Western Ave, West Springfield (there are 2 lots)
Access & Booth Location: Enter the Vermont building from the back. The maple booth is located in the rear corner on the left (closest to the Connecticut building).
Note: This has been a mutually beneficial arrangement since 2012. Remember, volunteers are an essential part of the production workforce.
Complimentary tickets will be assigned for each day you sign up to work and left in the lock box at the church to the left of the lower door to the parking lot.
